Questions on the Daf:

Read Rav Elon's introductory D'var Torah.

1.  What are the two missions that Hashem gave to Moshe?

2.  Why did the Jews in Egypt not celebrate when they heard from
Moshe that they would soon be free?

3.  What made Moshe think that he would not be able to perform
     the second mission?

4.  Rav Elon gives numerous reasons why Moshe's missions were
     difficult.
     a) How many can you find?
     b) which do you think would have been the most difficult of all?

Now read the story, 'The Shabbat Youth Group'

5.  What is the main lesson this story is teaching us?

6.  Why was it necessary for Paroh to be struck with all ten plagues
in order to teach him about the existence and the power of Hashem?
How does Rabbi Yehudah's explanation help us to understand this?

7.  Do you agree with the following statement:
"Being fair means treating everybody in exactly the same way"?
     Explain your view.

Now look elsewhere in the Daf to find answers to the following questions.

8.  Who, in this parashah, was prevented from doing teshuva...and why
did Hashem cause this to happen when normally He allows everyone
     to do teshuva?

9.  See if you can memorise the three reasons give in this week's daf
for the proibition of riding a bicycle on Shabbat.

10.  Is it permissible to answer "Amen" to someone else's bracha between
washing your hands (after saying "Al Netilat Yadayim") and
       eating bread?
