Pasuk:  Shemot 28, 6

"They shall make the eiphod out of gold,
greenish-blue wool, dark red wool,
crimson wool and fine twined linen,
the work of a craftsman."
('Metsudah' translation.)

                                -  why does he feel he needs to help 'the reader'
                                    in this way?
                                -  "Rashi does not just explain to us, he teaches
                                    us."  Use the Rashi you have just learnt to
                                    help you explain this statement.
