Shemot texts

Tetzaveh

Pasuk:  Shemot 28, 6

"They shall make the eiphod out of gold,
greenish-blue wool, dark red wool,
crimson wool and fine twined linen,
the work of a craftsman."
('Metsudah' translation.)

Rashi:

Tetzaveh Rashi a
Tetzaveh Rashi b

-  Now ask yourself:  -  what is Rashi doing?
                                -  why does he feel he needs to help 'the reader'
                                    in this way?
                                -  "Rashi does not just explain to us, he teaches
us."  Use the Rashi you have just learnt to
                                    help you explain this statement.

Can you read, translate and explain the Rashi without the English alongside it?  Have a go, below:

How did you do?
